Kapsch TrafficCom: Following an analysis of preliminary business figures as part of the preparation of the half-year financial report, the Management Board of Kapsch TrafficCom AG announces that the half-year figures for revenues and earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) fall significantly short of expectations. The primary factors contributing to these outcomes are the generally challenging market conditions: In this context, some large project tenders are being delayed. Furthermore, expected projects were not won. Accordingly, preliminary revenues of around EUR 200 million and EBIT of around EUR 10 million are expected for the first half of the financial year 2025/26. EBIT includes a positive one-off effect of around EUR 23 million from the first quarter. The outlook for the financial year 2025/26 is therefore being revised. The company now expects revenues in the order of around EUR 450 million (previously around EUR 510 million) and EBIT in the order of around EUR 25 million (previously around EUR 45 million).

Palfinger: In the first three quarters of 2025, lifting solutions provider PALFINGER AG recorded revenue of EUR 1,684.2 million and an operating result (EBIT) of EUR 130.7 million. Consolidated net result amounted to EUR 72.4 million. Particularly remarkable is the significant increase in free cash flow. After three quarters, it amounts to EUR 54 million and is clearly on track to achieve the annual target of more than EUR 100 million. PALFINGER AG has also further strengthened its strong financial stability, reporting an equity ratio of over 41 percent. The tariff developments in Q3, in particular the US tariffs under Section 232, cannot be fully offset and will have an impact on output and profitability in the US in Q4. Driven by the output increase in Europe, PALFINGER still expects the decline in earnings in the first nine months to be largely compensated in the fourth quarter of 2025.
