15,000 London cabs will be listed on the Uber app. The new service will be rolled out in early 2024. Since Uber has started their operation, the company has faced a lot of criticism and restrictions from governments and taxi drivers, especially in Europe, but the success of innovative business models is decided by consumers and not by regulators or long-established industries. Nevertheless, the company adjusted their business model to the regulatory framework and now taxi drivers have a much more convenient way of earning more. London cabbies are part of the tradition and the new service offered by Uber shows that innovation and tradition can exist together.
