RHI Magnesita: RHI Magnesita today announces a new member of its global Executive Management Team. Effective October 1st, Rajah Jayendran, currently Head of Operations Europe/CIS/Turkey, succeeds Gerd Schubert, who is preparing to retire. Stefan Borgas, CEO of RHI Magnesita emphasizes: “Rajah Jayendran has proven in- and outside our company that he is an excellent operations manager, holding the reputation of a reliable and accurate partner. His track record and experience make him the right choice to follow Gerd Schubert as COO. Gerd will withdraw from the Executive Management Team, but continue to work for RHI Magnesita, driving initial Projects until he takes his well-deserved retirement. I would like to thank Gerd for 30 years of passionate engagement on behalf of our company.”

UBM: The residential project “Pohlgasse 26”, developed by UBM Development together with Invester United Benefits, was handed over to a fund managed by the investment company GalCap Europe. GalCap is a real estate investment manager focusing on Austria and Central and Eastern Europe. The property in Vienna Meidling, which consists of 121 privately financed rental apartments and 1,950 square meters of retail space, was sold for Euro 28.65 mn in a forward deal.
UBM: weekly performance:
Erste Group: Thomas Schaufler, retail board member at Erste Group and Erste Bank Oesterreich, will move to Germany's Commerzbank as of 1.1.2022. Group Corporates & Markets Board Member Ingo Bleier will assume the Group function on the Managing Board on an interim basis. At Erste Bank Oesterreich, Willi Cernko, board member for Corporate Customers, will also be responsible for the retail business until further notice.
