Kontron: Kontron, a leading global provider of IoT/embedded computer technology (ECT), has secured a new European customer for its 5G Automotive Network Access Devices (NADs), which are developed and manufactured in Germany. These devices will be integrated into the vehicle platform of a leading European car manufacturer. Initially, Kontron expects to supply around 150,000 5G NAD modules, worth a double-digit million figure. Kontron sees the potential to more than triple the supply volume, should the car manufacturer roll out the technology to further vehicle platforms. The modules are manufactured at the new production facility in Düsseldorf, where production officially began on 13 July 2026 in the presence of federal and state government representatives. With development in Berlin and manufacturing in Düsseldorf, Kontron is currently the only provider worldwide to develop 5G communication modules in Europe and manufacture them in Germany.

Austrian Post: Austrian Post is acquiring 100 percent of the Serbian parcel service provider D Express. With its 100 percent subsidiary City Express, Austrian Post has been successfully active in the Serbian market for many years and is one of the established parcel service providers there. The transaction is intended to combine the strengths of D Express and City Express in a joint company. Both parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price. In 2025, D Express transported around 14 million parcels. D Express operates with around 800 vehicles throughout Serbia and offers its customers 35 parcel shops and more than 300 parcel stations. The company’s turnover in the past financial year amounted to around 36 million euros.

wienerberger: wienerberger, a leading international provider of innovative and ecological solutions for infrastructure, renovation and the building envelope, continued to advance the strategic transformation of its business model. Revenues increased by 13% year-on-year to €1.41 billion (Q2 2025: €1.25 billion), supported by strategic acquisitions and 7% organic growth, driven by resilient demand across infrastructure and renovation end markets. Operating EBITDA declined to €230 million, reflecting much weaker-than-expected residential new-build activity, particularly in the United States, Canada and the UK. Compared with the assumptions underlying the Group’s initial guidance for 2026, the weaker-thanexpected development in residential new-build markets is estimated to adversely impact Group EBITDA by approximately €100 million in 2026, of which around €40 million was incurred in the first half of the year. As a result, we currently expect operating EBITDA for the Group to amount to approximately €700 million in 2026.

Bawag: Banking group BAWAG reported net profit of €255 million in the second quarter with earnings per share of €3.28. Pre-provision profit increased by 5.5% quarter-over-quarter to €413 million. Net interest income amounted to €488 million in the second quarter of 2026, increasing by 2% compared to the first quarter 2026, supported by the continued positive trend in unsecured consumer lending which offset subdued mortgage volumes. Net fee and commission income rose to €102 million, up 3% compared to the prior quarter reflecting sustained momentum across business lines of Retail & SME, particularly in credit cards and payments. Risk costs amounted to €75 million in the second quarter of 2026, compared to €65.2 million in the prior quarter. The increase was driven by the continued growth of the unsecured lending portfolio, consistent with the Group’s evolving asset mix. The second quarter also incorporates updated macroeconomic assumptions reflecting ongoing geopolitical developments. Asset quality remained strong, with a non- performing loan (NPL) ratio of 0.9%.
