21st Austria weekly - Palfinger, Austrian Post; Marinomed (23/07/2026)

26.07.2026

Palfinger: PALFINGER secured another contract with Smulders to deliver 64 PF 160-5m davit cranes for the East Anglia TWO offshore wind farm, operated by ScottishPower Renewables. Following the recent davit crane order for the Bałtyk 2 and 3 offshore wind farms, this commission underlines PALFINGER’s position in one of Europe’s leading offshore wind markets. With a planned capacity of up to 960 megawatts, the wind farm will provide almost one million homes with clean, green energy. Thanks to the long-term partnership with Smulders, PALFINGER once again plays a vital part in the project.
Palfinger: weekly performance: 3.61%

Austrian Post: With the new post office station in front of the Eurospar supermarket in Schwanenstadt, Austrian Post has opened its 3,000th post office. Currently operating 327 company-owned post offices, 1,353 postal partners, 57 self-service branches, and 1,263 freestanding post office stations, Austrian Post operates the densest network in its history and is closer to Austrians than ever before.
Österreichische Post: weekly performance: -0.62%

Marinomed: Marinomed: Marinomed Biotech AG has filed an application with the Regional Court of Korneuburg for the opening of restructuring proceedings without self-administration. The application was prompted by outstanding earn-out payments from Unither relating to the sale of the Carragelose business and Unither Pharmaceuticals’ termination of related negotiations. The strained liquidity situation arose because, despite intensive efforts, no short-term agreement could be reached with Unither and because the conclusion of additional partnerships for Marinosolv products was delayed. As a result, significant milestone payments were not received.
Marinomed Biotech: weekly performance: 57.89%
