Agrana: Tate & Lyle, a leading global provider of food and beverage solutions and ingredients, announces a new long-term partnership in Brazil with Agrana Fruit, a global leader in fruit preparations. The agreement establishes new manufacturing dynamics for Brazil’s fruit preparations segment, bringing more innovation to the sector. With the partnership, which starts in September, Tate & Lyle Brazil will transfer the production of fruit preparations from its facility in Juiz de Fora (MG) to Agrana Fruit’s facility with cutting-edge equipment in Cabreúva, in the countryside of São Paulo. The decision aims to optimise the production process, offering innovative solutions to meet customer demand aligned with the main trends in the sector. "With this agreement, we will have access to new manufacturing technologies, which will allow us greater ability to expand in the market, maintaining the technical and commercial service that we are known for in-house,” comments Oswaldo Nardinelli, General Manager of Tate & Lyle in Latin America. “The partnership with Agrana Fruit demonstrates our commitment to meet the needs of our customers for healthier products with cleaner labels, as it will allow us to expand our portfolio to include new flavor and texture options for fruit preparations.” For Agrana Fruit, the agreement also offers benefits. “With this proximity between companies, we will be able to access Tate & Lyle's broader ingredient solutions and combine this know-how with Agrana Fruit’s strength in fruit preparations, which will expand our customer product offering”, says Rogerio Tocchini, General Manager of Agrana Fruit in Brazil. The executive highlights the similarities of the companies. "Like us, Tate & Lyle, is committed to innovation, quality control, safety and sustainability". Each company will maintain control of their respective product development and customer service including technical and application support.

Immofinanz/S Immo: At the shareholders’ meeting of S Immo AG, a majority of roughly 61% of the shareholder capital in attendance voted in favour of the resolution on the maximum voting right. However, the resolution failed to receive the required 75 % majority. Publications on the exercise of voting rights and an analysis of voting behaviour show that the resolution was rejected by three large shareholders, Aggregate Holdings, Peter Korbacka‘s EVAX Holding and Erste Asset Management – which together held roughly 28% of the votes at the shareholders’ meeting. Consequently, a condition for the takeover offer by Immofinanz to the shareholders of S Immo was not met. Immofinanz has decided not to amend the takeover offer which, as a result, is now cancelled. “The vote created an opportunity to smooth the way for the combination of both companies and to form S Immo and Immofinanz into a major Austrian player that can compete in Europe’s top league. Unfortunately, the S Immo shareholders decided against this proposal and our offer is, therefore, no longer valid“, explained Stefan Schönauer, CFO of Immofinanz.
