Zumtobel: Lightning group Zumtobel develops lighting solution for the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao. The new LED lighting solution by Zumtobel, which replaced the previous lighting system, gives the exhibition areas of the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao a new lease of life and meets the special requirements for illuminating the priceless and sensitive exhibits of the museum’s collection. Thanks to innovative LED technology, the new Zumtobel lighting solution also enables a significant reduction in energy consumption compared with the previous museum lighting. Bluetooth makes maintaining the lighting solution particularly easy. UV- and IR-free light protects the exhibits, while variable colour temperatures perfectly showcase the artworks, which include works by Mark Rothko, Yves Klein, Cy Twombly, Anselm Kiefer, Robert Rauschenberg and Eduardo Chillida, as well as the temporary exhibitions by Olafur Eliasson, El Anatsui, und Wassily Kandinsky.
Zumtobel: weekly performance: 7.83%

ams: ams, a leading supplier of high-performance sensor solutions, is helping to make computed tomography (CT) scanners substantially more affordable. Through ams expertise in sensor design and packaging, the AS5950M integrated sensor chip for X-ray detection will enable an improved CT detector for more detailed images at lower system costs. Jose Vinau, Marketing Director for the Medical & Specialty Sensors business line at ams, says: “ams wants to help make CT scanners more affordable and available throughout the world. The introduction of the AS5950 and its module will reduce the hurdles in assembly and manufacturing of an X-ray detector.”
AMS: weekly performance: -2.14%
