Andritz: Austrian based International technology Group Andritz has received an order from Shougang Jingtang United Iron & Steel Co., Ltd. in China to supply an S6-high cold rolling mill with an annual capacity of 280,000 tons. The new plant is designed to process high-strength steel grades. Production of the first coil is scheduled for the first quarter of 2020. The Andritz scope of supply includes engineering work, delivery of core mechanical equipment components, electrical equipment, the automation system, as well as supervision of the installation and start-up of the rolling mill stand.

Porr: Austrian construction group Porr, is realising in a Joint Venture with Belhasa Six Construct the “Deep Tunnel Storm Water System” project for Dubai Municipality. The project is due to complete ahead of Expo 2020 Dubai, which will be inaugurated on 20 October, 2020. A total of more than 600 international experts are currently involved in the project. The infrastructure project marks Porr’s market entry into the promising economic region of the United Arab Emirates as a full-service provider. The contract value is around Euro 300m. “Dubai is one of the main hubs for the Arab economies and achieving market entry in the United Arab Emirates is a genuine milestone for Porr”, said Porr CEO Karl-Heinz Strauss.
