Sibanye schließt Syndizierung der Überbrückungskredite in Höhe von 2.650.000.000 USD ab
Westonaria, 13. Februar 2017: Sibanye (JSE: SGL; NYSE: SBGL - http://www.commodity-tv.net/c/search_adv/?v=297063) gibt bekannt, dass das Unternehmen die Syndizierung der Überbrückungskredite (die „Kredite“), garantiert durch Citi und HSBC, erfolgreich abgeschlossen hat. Die Kredite dienen zur Unterstützung der Akquisition der Stillwater Mining Company, die am 9. Dezember 2016 angekündigt wurde.
Citi und HSBC fungierten hinsichtlich der Kredite ebenfalls als mandatierte Konsortialführer und Bookrunner.
Die Syndizierung der Kredite wurde Anfang Januar 2017 begonnen und war um über US$ 1 Mrd. überzeichnet. Die Kredite wurden in drei Tranchen unterteilt einschließlich Kredit A von US$ 750 Mio. an Bridge-to-Equity (Rückzahlung wird nach einem geplanten Anrechtsangebot erfolgen), Kredit B von US$ 300 Mio. an Bridge-to-Cash und Kredit C von US$ 1.6 Mrd. an Bridge-to-Debt Kapital. Die Syndizierung generierte über ein endgültiges Konsortium von 16 Banken über US$ 3,0 Mrd. an Zusagen für die syndizierten US$ 1,9 Mrd. der Kredite B und C insgesamt. Die Syndizierung fand große Beachttung bei Banken mit bestehenden Geschäftsbeziehungen zu Sibanye sowie bei einer Anzahl neuer internationaler Banken, was unserer Ansicht nach das Vertrauen in Sibanyes Betriebs- und Finanzstrategie reflektiert.
Neben Citi und HSBC schlossen sich folgende Geldinstitute als Konsortialführer an:
