Polytec: Two members of the board of directors of the automotive supplier and plastics processing expert Polytec Group, Markus Mühlböck (CFO) and Martin Resch (COO), recently bought around 87,000 shares worth a total of 400,000 euros. Markus Mühlböck explains his motives: "I still see growth opportunities for our stock. While stocks of some competitors and OEMs have been correcting downwards since the beginning of the year, the STOXX Europe 600 Automotive & Parts index is down 18% YTD, we are on the up. Of course, to be fair, we are coming from a low level, but the positive momentum is recognizable. I already bought at EUR 2.10 at the beginning of 2025, and since then the price has more than doubled. With a market capitalization of around EUR 107 million [note: as of 08.07.2026], we are around half of equity. Achieving parity is the first goal, I am an optimist by nature. As CFO, however, I am primarily guided by the hard facts. After the poor 2023 financial year and the negative industry outlook, which was also reflected in the share price, we were able to present a very healthy balance sheet again for the 2025 financial year. We are proud to say that we have improved every single metric in 2025." Martin Resch adds: "The Polytec Group has presented a massive change for the better in the last two years. The production and service portfolio has been and is being critically analysed on an ongoing basis and the strategic orientation has been adapted. Capacities have been adjusted, plants have been closed or sold, and the organization has been significantly streamlined. Measurable KPIs are also of central importance in my resorts, operations and engineering and the basis for decisions. I am convinced that we are on the right track!"
