The Austrian stock market outperforms the rest of the world in Wiener Börse's 250th anniversary year. The ATX Total Return closes on 30 December 2021 at 7,848.78 points, +44% (ATX: 3,861.06 points). The global stock rally is noticeably awakening interest in equities also in Austria, which has a conservative investment climate. However, more important than looking at the past year is looking at the long-term development of stock markets. Since the start of the calculation, the ATX including dividends has shown an annual average return of 7%. News in the last trading week came from AT&S (2), S&T, Wolftank-Adisa, Eyemaxx, De Raj and FACC. 

BSNgine weekly Spitout: The ATX TR up 0,19% to 7.848,78 points this week. Year-to-date the ATX TR is now at 43,59%. Up to now there were 155 days with a positive and 99 with a negative gain. From the year-high we are 1% away, from the low 43,59%. Statistically the best weekday so far 2022 is Monday with 0,35%, the weakest is Friday with -0,19%.

These are the best-performers this week: Porr 3,62% in front of Semperit 3,53% and Mayr-Melnhof 3,52%. And the following stocks performed worst: Marinomed Biotech -7,37% in front of FACC -4,47% and Verbund -3,61%.

Further highlights this week: Bawag for 7 days in a row up (7,54% gain from 50,4 to 54,2), also UBM 3 days up (0,7% gain from 43 to 43,3), Rosenbauer 3 days up (4,04% gain from 44,6 to 46,4), Palfinger 3 days down (2,27% loss from 35,2 to 34,4).

Best-performers year-to-date as of now: AT&S 65,9% (last year: 30,11 percent) followed by Erste Group 65,8% (last year: -25,69 percent) and Addiko Bank 56% (last year: -39,24 percent). And the worst-performing stocks year-to-date: Marinomed Biotech -26,05% (Vorjahr: 19 percent), followed by FACC -16,96% (Vorjahr: -23,79 percent) and Flughafen Wien -12,64% (Vorjahr: -19,34 percent).

High above the MA200: EVN 20,58%, AT&S 20,02% and Verbund 19,95%.
Down under the MA200: Polytec Group -28,44%, Marinomed Biotech -23,95% and FACC -19,82%.
