Andritz: International technology group Andritz – as part of a consortium – has signed a contract with TNBPG Hydro Nenggiri Sdn. Bhd. (a wholly owned subsidiary of TNB Power Generation Sdn Bhd.) to supply the complete electro- and hydro-mechanical equipment for the new Nenggiri Hydroelectric Project in Kelantan, the northeastern state of the Malay Peninsula. Commissioning is scheduled for the middle of 2026. The contract value for Andritz is more than 100 mn euros.

Warimpex: The real estate development and investment company Warimpex has started the construction of another office building in the Polish city of Krakow, Mogilska 35 Office, with approximately 11,000 sqm of space and a completion date set for the first half of 2023. Also in Krakow, Warimpex recently signed a lease for the last vacant office space at Mogilska 43 Office. Thus, the office building is now fully occupied. An international company that provides cloud- based payroll management software has rented about 300 sqm of space on the 6th floor of the office building.

Frequentis: Fequentis Germany receives contract for the new procurement of the emergency call and radio system for the control centres of Lübeck and Rostock in Germany. Frequentis was awarded the contracts for the projects in the context of EU-wide tenders. Frequentis Germany will be responsible for the delivery and integration of both control centres, including the service of the systems. "With the Frequentis product line ASGARD, which is specifically designed for use in fire brigade and industry control centres in the German market, we offer a flexible, highly reliable software solution for safety-critical control centres. ASGARD strengthens Frequentis' strong position in the German public safety market," says CEO Norbert Haslacher.

Valneva: Austrian/French Valneva SE, a specialty vaccine company, today announced positive homologous booster data from the Phase 1/2 study, of its inactivated, adjuvanted COVID-19 vaccine candidate, VLA2001. Initial results confirm that VLA2001 significantly boosted immunity in participants who received VLA2001 as a primary vaccination. 77 of the 153 original Phase 1/2 study participants, aged 18-55 years, received a booster dose seven to eight months after completion of their primary immunization with either a low, medium or high dose of VLA2001. All participants received a single booster vaccination with VLA2001 at the same (high) dose level used in the pivotal Phase 3 “Cov-Compare” trial. IgG antibody titers (spike protein-based) were measured at the time of the booster as well as two weeks after the booster dose. 45 of the 77 boosted participants were included in the final analysis.
