Austrian Post: Austrian Post's Group revenue rose by 28.4 % in the first half of 2021 to Euro 1,260.4 mn.  In the first half-year, the Parcel & Logistics Division reported an ongoing upward trend, accounting for 49.4 % of total revenue. Group EBITDA rose by 64.3 % to Euro 184.5 mn, whereas EBIT has more than doubled, increasing by 114.5 % year-on-year to Euro 103.4 mn. Austrian Post's profit for the period equalled Euro 84.2 mn in the first half of 2021 compared to Euro 39.1 mn in the first half of 2020. Earnings per share in the current reporting period was Euro 1.18, up from Euro 0.66 in the prior-year period. Austrian Post revised its expectations for the full year 2021 upwards based on strong results generated in the first half-year. In spite of the ongoing uncertainty in the letter mail and direct mail business, total Group revenue (including the Turkish subsidiary Aras Kargo) is expected to increase by about 15 %. Earnings should also improve from the previous year. A year-on-year increase of at least 20 % is targeted (basis 2020 EBIT: Euro 161 mn). The current parcel volume development confirms the need for Austrian Post's planned capacity expansion programme. The sorting capacity should be expanded by a further 50 % from 2020 to 2022.
Österreichische Post: weekly performance: -0.83%

Polytec: In the first six months of 2021, consolidated sales revenues of  Polytec, manufacturer of top-quality plastics solutions, amounted to Euro 291.7 min and in spite of the lower comparative basis owing to COVID-19, were thus markedly higher than in the same period of the previous year (H1 2020: Euro 242.3 mn). This increase in sales revenues is due primarily to the sharp rise in de- mand in the Passenger Cars & Light Commercial Vehicles market area. Group EBIT in the months from January to June 2021 totalled Euro 10.1 mn (H1 2020: minus Euro 7.0 mn), which corresponded with an EBIT margin of 3.5% (H1 2020: minus 2.9%). June 2021 stood at 21.7% (H1 2020: minus 1.6%). The group net profit for the first half of 2021 amounted to Euro 6.8 mn (H1 2020: minus Euro 8.9 mn). The  management continues to anticipate consolidated sales revenues of about Euro 575 mn for the 2021 financial year. On the basis of a reassessment of current risks, EBIT is likely to amount to around Euro 30 mn.
Polytec Group: weekly performance: -5.66%

DO & CO: In the first quarter of the business year 2021/2022, tcatering company DO & CO recorded revenue of Euro 102.84 mn, representing an increase of 216.7% compared to the same period of the previous year. The EBITDA of the DO & CO Group was Euro 22.34 mn in the first quarter of the business year 2021/2022 (PY: Euro -7.72 mn). The EBITDA margin was 21.7% (PY: -23.8%). Consolidated earnings before interest and tax (EBIT) of the DO & CO Group amounted to Euro 10.00 mn, Euro 31.66 mm higher than in the same period of the previous year. The EBIT margin was 9.7% (PY: -66.7%). The net result increased by Euro 24.11 mn from Euro -22.15 mn in the previous year to Euro 1.96 mn in the first quarter of the business year 2021/2022.
