21st Austria weekly - Andritz, UBM, Polytec (22/04/2021)

25.04.2021

Andritz: International technology group Andritz has received an order from BillerudKorsnäs to supply a HERB recovery boiler for its mill in Frövi, Sweden. Start-up is scheduled for the end of 2023. The new boiler will replace the existing recovery boiler that has been in operation in Frövi since 1969.
Andritz: weekly performance: 4.23%

UBM: Martina Maly-Gärtner becomes the fourth member of the Management Board of real estate developer UBM Development AG for a term extending to 30 April 2026. She will join Thomas G. Winkler (CEO), Martin Löcker (COO) and Patric Thate (CFO).
UBM: weekly performance: 2.81%

PolytecThe group turnover of the manufacturer of plastics solutions Polytec Group amounted to Euro 522.0 mn (-16,8%) in the financial year 2020, EBIT came in at Euro 13 mn vs. Euro 32.6 mn in 2019. The company was exposed to the negative economic development due to the Covid-19 pandemic in the 2020 financial year. Even if the economy improved in the third and fourth quarters of 2020, the massive sales losses during the first half of the year, which were mainly caused by the effects of the corona crisis and the lockdown, could not be made up for. Revenue declines were recorded in all three market areas, with Commercial Vehicles and Passenger Cars & Light Commercial Vehicles being hit hardest. Outlook for the 2021 financial year The management is assuming that the business environment will recover in the 2021 financial year, with consolidated sales of around Euro 575 mn. EBIT (operating earnings before interest and taxes) should improve to around Euro 35 mn on the basis of the restructuring carried out in the previous year - including the closure of four production plants and the resulting sustainable reduction in personnel and structural costs. The company aims to distribute a dividend of 0,30 Euro a share.
Polytec Group: weekly performance: -2.05%
