21st Austria weekly - Rosenbauer, Agrana, Immofinanz, Zumtobel (23/03/2021)

Rosenbauer: Rosenbauer, eading manufacturer of systems for firefighting and disaster protection, has concluded a framework contract to supply hydraulic platforms with the Romanian civil protection organization IGSU (Inspectoratul General pentru Situaţii de Urgenţă). The contract has a term of four years, covers up to 100 vehicles and envisages the delivery of 18 units this year. The IGSU will then distribute the hydraulic appliances to professional fire services throughout the country. “We are delighted to equip the Romanian fire services with state-of-the-art technology and see this as an endorsement of our increased engagement in Eastern European countries,” said Kurt Wandaller, Area Manager CEEU at Rosenbauer. “With the B45, the firefighters are being provided with a work tool that will massively increase their capability.”
Rosenbauer: weekly performance: 1.90%

Agrana: Fruit-, starch- and sugar group Agrana had been expecting an overall annual EBIT in 2020|21 of at least Euro 87.1 mn. Following a provisional review of the figures, the Group is now expected to achieve provisional earnings before interest and tax (EBIT) in its 2020|21 financial year in an amount of Euro 78.7 mn (prior year: Euro 87.1 mn). Besides the anticipated, significantly weaker, operating performance in the fourth quarter 2020|21, extraordinary items in the fruit preparations business are the main reason why EBIT in 2020|21 is below the level of the prior year. Group revenue will amount to around Euro 2,550 mn (2019|20: Euro 2,480.7 mn).
Agrana: weekly performance: -3.01%

Immofinanz: Austrian based real estate company Immofinanz has acquired the Bucharest Financial Plaza office building, in a prime central location close to the historic center of Bucharest. The property is being sold by Banca Comercială Română (BCR), the largest financial services group in Romania and a subsidiary of the Austrian Erste Group Bank. The building, with gross rentable space of around 27,700 sqm (post-conversion), was BCR’s head office until last year. The costs of the transaction amount to approximately Euro 36.0 mn – the closing took place today.
Immofinanz: weekly performance: -1.38%

Zumtobel: The 2020/21 financial year (1 May 2020 to 30 April 2021) for the lightning group Zumtobel Group has been clearly influenced by the Covid-19 pandemic. In particular for the fourth quarter, the Zumtobel Group most recently expected a very challenging market environment for both revenues and costs (e.g. rising raw material prices). Contrary to the original guidance, the current development of business exceeds expectations. The Management Board now estimates revenues will total Euro 1,030 to 1,040 mn for the 2020/21 financial year (previous year: Euro 1,131.3 mn) and adjusted Group EBIT will range from Euro 36 to 43 million (previous year: Euro 53.9 million). Net profit will be substantially higher than the previous year due to lower restructuring costs and a positive income tax effect. Net profit for the 2020/21 financial year is expected to be positive at Euro 24 to 34 mn (previous year: Euro 14.5 mn), subject to possible special effects from year-end valuations as of 30 April 2021.
Zumtobel: weekly performance: 17.16%
