Andritz: International technology group Andritz has received an order from Bracell to supply energy-efficient and environmentally friendly pulp production technologies and key process equipment for Bracell’s Project “STAR” in Lençóis Paulista, in the state of São Paulo, Brazil. Start-up is scheduled for the third quarter of 2021. Award of this contract to Andritz was announced in July 2019, however the name of the customer remained confidential at that time.
Andritz: weekly performance: 1.88%

AT&S: AT&S, market leader for high-end printed circuit boards and one of the leading manufacturers of IC substrates, initiated a technology upgrade at the AT&S location in Ansan, Korea. This technology upgrade will bring the production technologies in the factory to a new level. The Styrian PCB-manufacturer is investing around 30 Mio. Euro in the next two financial years, making a significant contribution to meeting the customers' requirements. The investments planned for the current financial year are already budgetd in the group investments for technology upgrades. Christian Fleck, COO of the Business Unit Automotive, Industrial and Medical at AT&S explains: “We have to continuously invest in the latest technologies in order to satisfy our customers’ needs on the one hand and to keep our promise to be 'First choice for advanced applications' on the other. This allows us to always offer the most modern interconnection technologies for future application generations to our existing and new customers,” says Fleck. "At the same time, technology upgrades open up great growth opportunities for us." The additional space will be used for new production facilities that will be installed by December 2020 and should receive all the necessary customer qualifications by mid-2021.
AT&S: weekly performance: -7.42%

Kapsch TrafficCom: Following the unilateral termination of the operating agreement regarding the infrastructure levies with effect as of September 30, 2019 by the German Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure, autoTicket GmbH and its two shareholders decided today that the contractually agreed payment claims against the Federal Republic of Germany amount to a total of approx. EUR 560 million and to assert claims in this amount in several steps now. autoTicket GmbH and its shareholders Kapsch TrafficCom AG and CTS EVENTIM AG & Co. KGaA are convinced that autoTicket GmbH has a compensation claim due to the present early termination of the agreement by the Federal Republic of Germany, equal to the loss of profits over the term of the agreement. In addition the operating agreement provides for a compensation of the costs arising from the termination of the agreement which includes compensation claims of subcontractors. Such subcontractors include – to different degrees – Kapsch TrafficCom AG and CTS Eventim AG & Co. KGaA as well as some of their affiliated companies.
Kapsch TrafficCom: weekly performance: 5.92%

Semperit: The publicly listed Semperit Group significantly improved the operating results with increasing profitability on EBITDA level in the first three quarters of 2019, while revenue declined slightly. In the first three quarters of 2019, total revenue recorded a year-on-year decline of 2.7% to Euro 652.2 mn. Group EBIT improved to Euro –13.7 million in the first three quarters of 2019 from Euro –45.5 mn in the previous year. EBITDA margin was –2.1% after –6.8%. Adjusted for one-off effects , EBIT amounted to Euro 29.0 million compared to Euro 17.5 million in the previous year. Due to the competitive situation of the medical business, an impairment loss of Euro 46.8 mn was recognized in the Medical Sector. The background to this is the investment intensity of the significant competitors, which increased beyond expectations through capacity expansion and production automation, and the highly dynamic development of the market environment. Despite Sempermed segment’s progress regarding the improvement of operating results, which is quicker than planned, it is to be expected that overcapacities on the market and the resulting price pressure will affect the profitability in a significantly negative manner.
Semperit: weekly performance: -3.45%
