RHI Magnesita: RHI Magnesita, supplier of high-grade refractory products, continues to consider a potential transaction involving Kumas Manyezit Sanayi AS and therefor has entered into an exclusivity agreement with the sellers, Yıldız Holding A.Ş. and Gözde Girişim Sermayesi Yatırım Ortaklığı A.Ş. As a market leader in its segment, RHI Magnesita regularly seeks to evaluate opportunities that may arise to participate in the ongoing consolidation of the refractory industry, however there can be no certainty that any transaction will occur.

FACC: Airbus announced that they will discontinue production and delivery of the A380 in 2021. This is due to the lack of new orders for quite some time and the partial cancellation of A380 orders by airlines. At the same time, additional orders for 40 A330neo and 30 A350 aircraft were announced. "We regret that production of the A380, the world's largest passenger aircraft, will have to be stopped from 2021. At the same time, we are pleased about the new order of 70 new aircraft on which FACC is strongly represented", says Robert Machtlinger, CEO of FACC AG. Caused by the discontinuation of the A380, the EBIT expectations for the financial year 2018/19 will be adjusted by 12 million euros due to a negative one-off effect. This mainly relates to the amortization of development costs relating to the A380 programme. From 2021 onwards, only minor effects on the revenue development are expected; these were most recently forecast at around 10 million euros.

Vienna Stock Exchange: Vienna Stock Exchange has become the first National stock exchange to be admitted as a registered benchmark administrator. This is the name given to a natural or legal person who has control (decision on the creation, quality, composition,...) over an index. From 1 January 2020, financial institutions that use indices as underlying assets for derivatives and structured products will have to rely on indices of an EU benchmark administrator. The successful registration confirms the high transparency and quality of the more than 130 tradable indices of Vienna Stock Exchange. The indices of Vienna Stock Exchange already met the strictest European and global regulatory standards.
