ASTA Energy: ASTA is further expanding its production capacity in India. At its Vadodara site in the state of Gujarat, the company plans to install an additional production line to meet the rising demand for high-quality copper conductors for the transformer industry. The expansion is part of ASTA’s long-term growth strategy in one of the world’s most dynamic energy markets. The expansion of India’s energy infrastructure is driven by several global megatrends. In addition to ongoing electrification, electricity demand is also rising due to urbanization, digitalization, and the construction of large data centers, for example in connection with AI applications.
