21st Austria weekly - Rosenbauer, Strabag, OMV (11/12/2023)

Rosenbauer: The vietnamese state-run fire and rescue police department has purchased two fire trucks equipped with Sky Cafs technology from Rosenbauer for the two metropolises of Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi. The system, specially designed for discharge at height, makes it possible to transport extinguishing agents several hundred meters up and still have the full extinguishing capacity available. This was impressively demonstrated during the acceptance of the two new vehicles: On the highest building in Vietnam, the 460-meter "The Vincom Landmark 81" skyscraper, a height of 200 meters had to be reached during the discharge tests with the normal CAFS system, and even a height of 400 meters with the SKY CAFS system. Both tests were successfully completed to the full satisfaction of the fire and rescue police department.
Rosenbauer: weekly performance: -0.35%

Strabag: In June 2019, Strabag’s tunnelling specialists began excavating a 37 km tunnel beneath the North York Moors National Park with a Herrenknecht tunnel boring machine (TBM). Now the project team has a very special reason to celebrate: the tunnel drive for the Woodsmith mine near Whitby in the north-east of England has reached the 25.8 kilometre mark, setting a new world record for the longest single tunnel boring machine drive. The 1,775-tonne machine with a diameter of 6 metres, named Stella-Rose, has been boring underground for around four and a half years.
Strabag: weekly performance: 2.37%

OMV: OMV the integrated energy, fuels & feedstock, and chemicals & materials company headquartered in Vienna, Austria, and Synthos, the biggest synthetic rubber producer in Europe with a global reach, today announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). Under the MoU, the two companies will cooperate on sustainability, focusing in particular on the supply of sustainable raw materials that can be used to manufacture high-performance tires. This step underlines both companies’ commitment to a circular economy by using bio-based and circular feedstocks, underpinning their mass-balance approach to manufacture essential products in everyday life.
OMV: weekly performance: 2.09%
