Pierer Mobility: Pierer Mobility, with brands like KTM, Husqvarna, GasGas etc. is increasing the revenue forecast for the 2022 to a growth of 10 to 15 percent compared to the previous year (previously forecasted revenue growth for the 2022 financial year: 6 to 10 percent). Based on the good performance in the first half of the year, the Management Board expects the strong business development to continue in the second half of 2022. This expectation is supported, among other things, by a slight easing of the supply chain situation in the second half of 2022. The forecasts for the EBIT margin of 8 to 10 percent and an EBITDA margin between 15 and 17 percent are confirmed.

Kontron: IT company Kontron through Kontron Transportation GmbH (Austria) has entered into an agreement with Kapsch TrafficCom to acquire the public transport business in Spain, which is bundled in the Kapsch TrafficCom Group company Arce Mobility Solutions, S.A. The transaction is subject to regulatory approvals. Public transport is not part of Kapsch TrafficCom's strategic core business. Relevant advantages are expected with the acquisition of the company: The technology group expands its own product portfolio and increases internal engineering capacities. In the last fiscal year 2021/22 Arce Mobility Solutions, S.A. generated revenues of Euro 11.2 mn and employs more than 115 people.

S Immo: In the first half of the year, total revenues of real estate company S mmoI increased year-on-year from Euro 91.1 mn to Euro 119.6 mn. This improvement is due to acquisitions of rented properties, a good like-for-like performance and a significant increase in revenues from hotel operations, which amounted to Euro 23.7 mn (HY 2021: Euro 10.2 mn). While rental income rose from EUR 63.9m to EUR 73.0m, gross profit from hotel operations increased from Euro 2.2 mn in the first half of 2021 to EUR 5.2m. Despite a substantial rise in property management expenses to Euro 38.5 mn (HY 2021: Euro 31.9 mn) due to acquisitions and higher energy costs, gross profit advanced by more than 19% to Euro 63.4 mn (HY 2021: Euro 53.2 mn). Despite a significant decline, the result from property valuation was still positive at Euro 20.8 mn (HY 2021: Euro 131.5 mn). Due to lower property values, however, EBIT decreased from Euro 166.3 mn to Euro 64.8 mn despite the positive operating performance. Due to the stagnating prices on the German residential property market, the company is currently considering divestment options, which would allow for reinvestments in properties in CEE with solid returns.

Valneva: Valneva, a specialty vaccine company, today reported further positive Phase 3 results for its inactivated, adjuvanted COVID-19 vaccine VLA2001. Additional readouts from the Company’s pivotal VLA2001-301 “Cov-Compare” trial showed persistent immunogenicity and first positive heterologous booster results following primary vaccination with ChAdOx1-S (AstraZeneca).
