Andritz: The Andritz biomass-fired PowerFluid circulating fluidized bed boiler with flue gas cleaning system delivered to Mitsui Engineering and Shipbuilding for the biomass power plant in Ichihara, Chiba Prefecture, has been in commercial operation since December 2020 – after fulfilling all performance guarantee parameters in November 2020 as planned. The Ichihara plant reached the end of the warranty period in December 2021. The total project execution time from award of the order to the beginning of commercial operation was only 39 months, thus confirming Andritz’s strong capabilities in management and timely execution of demanding projects.

Vienna Stock Exchange: In the year 2021, the total trading volume at the Vienna Stock Exchange amounted to Euro 73.40 bn. This is a significant rise of 6.5% compared to the already strong level of the previous year 2020 (Jan-Dec 2020: Euro 68.89 bn). In December 2021, the leading trading platform for Austrian shares recorded an equity turnover of Euro 5.71 bn. Compared to the previous year, this represents a gain of 3.6% (December 2020: Euro 5.51 bn).

S Immo: The stock exchange listed real estate company S Immo AG issues another green bond with a volume of Euro 50 mn (with the option to increase this amount) and a term of five years. The coupon as well as the yield of the fixed interest bond is 1,25% per annum. The bond with a denomination of Euro 500, each, can be subscribed by private investors in Austria and Germany until 07 January 2022 (subject to early termination) at credit institutions. Bruno Ettenauer, CEO of S Immo AG, comments: "With the issue of another green bond, we are continuing our commitment to sustainability. Modern and energy-efficient properties with the highest standards are essential not only in terms of sustainable value development of our portfolio, but also in terms of environmental thinking. With the successful bond issue, we will continue our growth in precisely this area."
