21st Austria weekly - Porr, EVN, Pierer Mobility (26/08/2021)

29.08.2021

Porr: Construction group Porr presented its half-year performance. The order backlog of Euro 7,848 mn is higher than ever before. Production output of Euro 2,496m marks an increase of 9.8%. EBT went from red to black and stood at EUR 11.5m, not only outperforming the level of the previous year, but also well above the first half of 2019. “The energy transition as well as the expansion of public transport and the enormous demand for affordable homes are all in the Porr domain. This development will continue to secure full order books in the coming years”, said Karl-Heinz Strauss, CEO of Porr. On the basis of the good earnings development in the first half of 2021, the Executive Board continues to forecast production output for the full-year 2021 of Euro 5.3 bn to Euro 5.5 bn and a positive EBT margin of +1.3% to +1.5%.
Porr: weekly performance: 4.33%

EVN: Revenue recorded by utility company EVN Group rose by 12.0% year-on year to Euro 1,788.5 mn in the first three quarters of 2020/21. This growth was supported primarily by the international project business and, in this connection, the wastewater treatment plant project in Kuwait which started in summer 2020. The result before income tax rose by 6.1% year-on-year to Euro 294.8 mn in the first three quarters of 2020/21. Due to EVN’s integrated business model and broad customer diversification, the Covid-19 pandemic has had only a limited effect on the development of business and earnings to date. However, the progress of projects in the international environmental services business has been complicated by national lockdowns, travel restrictions and interruptions in international supply chains.
EVN: weekly performance: 0.46%

Pierer Mobility: Due to the continued positive global demand for motorized two-wheelers (motorcycles and e-bicycles), Pierer Mobility group with brands like KTM oder Husqvarna further increases its revenue forecast for the 2021 fiscal year. Despite the ongoing COVID-19 related supply chain challenges, the outlook remains positive and the Executive Board raises the revenue guidance for the 2021 fiscal year to Euro 1,900 mn to Euro 2,000 mn (previous 2021 revenue guidance: Euro 1,850 mn - Euro 1,950 mn). The forecast for the EBIT margin in the amount of 8 - 9% and the EBITDA margin > 15% remains unchanged.
Pierer Mobility: weekly performance: 1.07%
