Lenzing: Lenzing, supplier of wood-based specialty fibers, and Södra, producer of pulp, signed a cooperation agreement today, June 02, 2021, with the clear objective of making a decisive contribution to addressing the enormous textile waste challenges of the industry and the society. The cooperation involves the transfer of knowledge between the two companies, which have been proactively driving the circular economy issue for many years, and a joint process development followed by a capacity expansion for pulp from post-consumer waste. The goal is to process 25,000 tons of textile waste per year by 2025.

S&T: The technology group S&T AG signed an agreement with Bechtle AG, one of Europe's leading IT companies, to cooperate in the field of multi-vendor services. As part of the cooperation, S&T Group will acquire from Bechtle via its German subsidiary, Citykomp Services GmbH, 100% of PSB IT-Service GmbH, based in Ober-Mörlen, Hesse. As a result, around 70 experienced IT service technicians will be moving to S&T Group, strengthening Citykomp's team of around 330 employees. In course of the cooperation, S&T Group will become the strategic partner for multi-vendor services of Bechtle Managed Services AG. The transaction is to be implemented on July 1, 2021. In the medium term, it is also planned to expand the cooperation to include customer projects in Eastern Europe, where the S&T Group has a strong service network with its own technicians.
