Andritz: Austrian based international technology Group Andritz has received an order from the Swedish energy company Vattenfall AB to deliver a new biomass boiler plant with an external biomass handling system for their “Carpe Futurum” project. The plant will be located on Vattenfall’s existing combined heat and power plant site in Uppsala, Sweden, some 70 km north of the capital Stockholm. The new plant will supply district heat to the Uppsala area and is also prepared for electricity production at a later stage. Start-up of the boiler is scheduled for the end of 2021.
Andritz: weekly performance: 0.41%

Vienna Stock Exchange: The Vienna Stock Exchange’s annual review shows an increase in share turnover in the course of the year to Euro 67.97 bn as of December 14, 2018 (December 14, 2017: Euro 63.95 bn). At 86 %, the lion's share came from international exchange members. On important international dates, such as the end of the quarter, the trading volume tripled. On the strongest trading day in 2018, 16 March, a volume of more than 1 billion EUR was traded. In 2018, Morgan Stanley accounted for 12.53% of stock exchange turnover in Vienna. The most active trading participants also include Merrill Lynch (8.22 %), J.P. Morgan (7.84 %), Société Générale (6.67 %) and Raiffeisen Centrobank (6.21 %). The buyers of Austrian shares are mainly large investors from the USA, Austria, Great Britain, Norway and France.

Strabag: The real estate service provider Strabag PFS Austria GmbH has signed the agreement for the acquisition of 100 % of the shares of Caverion Polska Sp. z o.o. of Warsaw, a Polish specialist in the field of technical facility management (TFM). The previous owner, Finland’s Caverion Oyj, has chosen to withdraw from this market. Caverion Polska, founded in 1993, has about 170 employees and in 2017 generated an output volume of around PLN 50 million (~ Euro 12 mn). Of this amount, approximately 70 % are accounted for by TFM and 30 % by plant engineering.
Strabag: weekly performance: -7.27%

KTM:  In 2018, European motorcycle producer KTM heads for its 8th record year in a row. In 2018 KTM gained disproportionately in market share in the key markets and outperformed the market in both Europe and North America. In Europe the market grew by about 7 % last year – mainly driven by Germany, France and Italy; KTM has increased the registrations in the same period by more than 20 %. In the overall declining US market (minus 2 %) KTM increased the registrations by more than 10 %. Thus, both in Europe and in the USA substantial increases in market share have been achieved. In 2019, KTM expects a consolidation of the European motorcycle market. With respect to the US market, KTM expects a further market decline. Due to the increasing volatility of the global economic and political environment, KTM is focusing on increasing efficiency and productivity over the next two years. This is considered as the basis in order to play a strong role during the expected consolidation of the industry. It is the aim to keep EBIT margin and to increase the free cash flow potential to 3-5% of the sales (p.a.).
KTM Industries: weekly performance: -8.14%
