EVN: Lower Austria based publicly listed energy and environmental services company EVN has inaugurated the Sommerein wind farm in Lower Austria. The 34.5MW project’s six Vestas V112 and four V126 turbines were fully commissioned in July and are expected to generate enough electricity to supply some 28,000 households. Construction started last autumn and was hampered by the discovery of an ancient burial site and by challenging soil conditions, EVN has said.

CA Immo: Austrian real estate company CA Immo announced new tenants in Vienna and Berlin. At ViE office building on Erdberger Lände in Vienna JTI Austria GmbH/Austria Tabak GmbH (JTI), a leading Austrian tobacco company, will rent approximately 2,700 sqm of office space on three floors from the end of March 2019 onwards. Further, CA Immo has signed a lease for approx. 8,500 m² (91,493 ft²) in the MY.B office building in Berlin, which is currently still under construction. The tenant is Hypoport AG. After concluding this lease, the office building is already around 57% let with one year to go before completion. CA Immo is investing around Euro 65 mn into the building in Berlin's Europacity.
