Vonovia has launched a friendly takeover offer on Conwert, valuing it at EUR17.58 per share based on last Friday’s closing price. The management and administrative boards of Conwert have welcomed the deal. While the offer does not include a large control premium, in our view, it values Conwert fairly. The offer price is in line with our TP of EUR17.50. As the offer allows Conwert investors to switch into a significantly larger, better diversified entity and more liquid stock at a fair valuation, we recommend accepting the offer.
