Vienna Airport Group: In May 2019, the total number of passengers handled by the Flughafen Wien Group (Vienna Airport, Malta Airport and Kosice Airport) rose by 20.1% to 3.6 million travellers. The accumulated passenger volume was up 20.6% to 14.4 million. Vienna Airport once again registered a substantial increase in passenger volume of 25.0% in the first five months of the year to 11.7 million travellers. The number of passengers handled by Vienna Airport in the month of May 2019 rose by 24.4% compared to the prior-year month to 2,877,161 travellers. Malta Airport reported an increase in passenger volume of 4.8% in the month of May 2019, whereas Kosice Airport registered a rise of 17.6% in the number of passengers it handled.

Kapsch TrafficCom: Kapsch TrafficCom, provider of intelligent transportation systems in the fields of tolling, traffic management, smart urban mobility, traffic safety and security, announced to equip the Olympia Odos Greek motorway with 30 free flow rebate stations. The contract has been awarded by the Canadian IBI Group (who has a contract with the Apion Kleos Construction JV of Olympia Odos) enlisting Kapsch’s ongoing technical support for service and maintenance, based on a yearly agreement. Olympia Odos is one of the most significant motorway concessions in Greece, linking the cities of Athens, Corinth and the port city of Patras on the Peloponnese, via 202 kilometres of motorway. Other motorway concessions in Greece are expected to adopt this hybrid tolling system and rebate model, Kapsch said.

Immofinanz: Austrian based real estate company Immofinanz is acquiring the Warsaw Spire Tower Building in the Polish capital through the purchase of the respective property holding companies. This roughly 220 metre-high office tower has approximately 71,600 sqm of rentable space, with roughly 65,000 sqm representing offices and the remainder used primarily for retail purposes. The agreed property value for the office tower amounts to approximately Euro 386.0 mn. The expected annual rental income based on invoiced rents totals roughly Euro 19.6 mn. The sellers are Ghelamco Group, which completed the tower in 2016, and Madison International Realty, a global Real Estate Private Equity Firm.
