Andritz: International technology group Andritz is supplying major energy-efficient and environmentally friendly pulp production technologies and key process equipment for Bracell's project "Star" in the city of Lençóis Paulista, São Paulo state, Brazil. The mill complies with highest environmental standards and features two flexible, environmentally friendly hardwood fiberlines for a capacity of 2.6 to 2.8 million tons/year of bleached kraft pulp or 1.5 million tons/year of dissolving pulp, which is used as raw material for the production of viscose. Andritz was awarded this contract in July 2019, and start-up is scheduled for August 2021.

S&T: IT company S&T was again able to report a high level of incoming orders in the second quarter of 2021, which once again significantly exceeded revenues in the second quarter. CEO Hannes Niederhauser: "S&T is operationally on the right track, which is reflected in the strong order intake and will be reflected in good half-year figures." Orders from public-sector clients continue to make a strong contribution, such as several recent orders from state-owned or state-related railroad companies and rail infrastructure operators, such as the British Network Rail in the amount of over Euro 8 mn, as well as a major order worth USD 60 mn from an American ministry.

Marinomed: Marinomed Biotech AG, an Austrian science-based biotech company with globally marketed therapeutics derived from innovative proprietary technology platforms, announced that Carragelose based nasal sprays have been outlicensed for the Brazilian and Mexican markets. Marinomed has entered into an exclusive license agreement with M8 Pharmaceuticals (formerly moksha8). M8 is a specialty pharmaceutical company focused on licensing, marketing, and distributing innovative and established therapeutics in the two largest Latin American markets, Brazil and Mexico. M8 will be responsible for pursuing the local approvals in Brazil and Mexico, after which the Carragelose nasal spray will be launched under the trade name Barlo®, further expanding the geographical reach. Carragelose products are already available without prescription (OTC) in more than 40 countries. Carragelose has a clinically proven high efficacy in preventing infection and viral spread of multiple respiratory viruses including both endemic Corona viruses such as OC43 as well as SARS-CoV-2.
Marinomed Biotech: weekly performance: -1.20%

Bitpanda: Bitpanda, the European digital investment platform and Austria's first unicorn, announces a new role of Chief Growth Officer, appointing Irina Nicoleta Scarlat to the position effective immediately.  Irina will lead multiple departments through a unified strategy to achieve results across various sectors and create a new business model that will allow Bitpanda to maintain its rapid growth. Prior to joining Bitpanda, Irina led Revolut's Global Growth department, as well as Uber's marketing efforts in Romania.

Pierer Mobility: Pierer Mobility AG sold worldwide a total of 176,045 motorcycles of the KTM, Husqvarna and Gasgas brands (previous year: 90,331), almost doubling sales compared to the first half of 2020 (+95%). Furthermore, a total of 53,378 units were sold through the very successfully established non-e-bike and e-bike division (+25%). 39,603 of these are e-bikes and 13,775 are non-e-bikes of the R Raymon, Husqvarna and Gasgas brands.
Pierer Mobility: weekly performance: 0.96%

Valneva: Valneva, a specialty vaccine company focused on the development and commercialization of prophylactic vaccines for infectious diseases with significant unmet medical need, announced it has appointed Vincent Dequenne as Senior Vice President Operations and Joshua Drumm as Vice President Investor Relations.
Valneva: weekly performance: -1.12%

S Immo: The management board of S Immo AG expects, based on independent external appraisals, positive results from property valuation in the amount of about Euro 130 mn as of 30 June 2021 (HY 2020: Euro 10.2m) and thus a result approximately in line with the reference figure of 2019, the year preceding the COVID-19 pandemic (HY 2019: Euro 134.1m). The value increase is mainly attributable to properties in Germany and reflects the continuing attractive market environment. The book value of the real estate portfolio will amount to about Euro 2.7bn as of 30 June 2021.
