21st Austria weekly - OMV, Raiffeisen Bank International, Wolftank-Adisa, Andritz, ams (07/12/2020)

OMV: Maersk Drilling has been awarded a one-well contract from OMV (Norge) AS for the low-emission jack-up rig Maersk Integrator. In direct continuation of its previously announced work scope, the rig will drill one exploration well in the Ommadawn prospect in PL 970 offshore Norway. The contract is expected to commence in mid-2021, with an estimated duration of 52 days. The firm contract value is approximately USD 14.3 mn, including mobilisation, but excluding integrated services provided and potential performance bonuses. The contract further includes an option to add approximately 28 days of well testing.
OMV: weekly performance: 2.34%

Raiffeisen Bank International: Raiffeisen Bank International AG (RBI) has securitized a loan portfolio worth Euro 3.3 bn. The portfolio consists of private real estate financing in Austria. In this synthetic securitization, the portfolio was split into a senior, a mezzanine and a junior risk position. The credit risk of the mezzanine tranche was assumed by international institutional investors. RBI retains the credit risk of the junior and senior tranches. Thanks to this securitization structure, the transaction has no impact on customer relations. At group level, the transaction will strengthen the common equity tier 1 ratio by approximately 10 basis points.
RBI: weekly performance: -3.60%

Wolftank-Adisa: Due to the great demand, which is reflected in a large number of concrete enquiries and ongoing projects throughout the group, as well as the extraordinary potential of the Hydrogen (H2) Initiative for the decarbonisation of energy supply, which has been decided and promoted by the EU, the Wolftank-Adisa Group has now bundled its more than 30 years of expertise and business activities in the gas plant sector in Wolftank Hydrogen GmbH, which is to contribute actively and sustainably to the development of the European hydrogen infrastructure. The Wolftank-Adisa Group is already a member of the European Clean Hydrogen Alliance of the European Union. Group CEO Peter Werth, commented: "Our technologies, some of which have already been used for years in hydrogen supply, enable an energy-efficient link between green hydrogen production plants and the end user in both small and large networks. Whenever I visit our branch in Bolzano, I am pleased to look at the highly visible hydrogen filling station we were able to help build and which has been reliably refuelling hydrogen vehicles for over 10 years".

Andritz: International technology Group Andritz recently completed successful replacement and start-up of the PM5 Yankee hood at Cascades Tissue Group’s tissue mill in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, USA. The Andritz PrimeDry Hood is specially designed for low energy consumption and long durability. With this upgrade, production output of the PM5 – a medium-speed tissue machine for dry-crepe tissue with a 12 ft. Yankee – has increased remarkably while reducing specific gas consumption by the hood. Due to the energy savings achieved, Cascades Tissue Group Wisconsin was awarded the 2020 Energy Efficiency Excellence Award by Focus On Energy®, Wisconsin’s energy efficiency and renewable energy resources program.
Andritz: weekly performance: -0.55%

ams: ams, a  supplier of high-performance sensor solutions, has been recognized in The Diversity Leaders 2021survey, published by the Financial Times, which ranks Europe’s most inclusive companies in terms of diversity of gender, age, ethnicity, disability, and sexual orientation. In a competitive market to attract and retain employees with the right skillsets – like STEM – ams’ approach is intended to widen the talent pool, as well as encourage diverse perspectives which reflect that of its customer base, and enhance collaboration across a dispersed international team of employees and partners.
AMS: weekly performance: -22.23%
