Vienna Airport Group (Flughafen Wien): Vienna Airport Group reportetd an increase in revenues of 7.2 % to Euro 857.6 mn in 2019, and net profit for the periode of Euro 175.7 mn. “Flughafen Wien AG is developing very well, as shown by a 7.2% growth in revenue and 15.7% increase in the net profit for the period. For this reason, we will propose an increase in the dividend by 27.0% to Euro 1.13/share to the upcoming Annual General Meeting, from which employees will also profit. We expect further growth in 2020, which in turn also creates new jobs and added value", says Günther Ofner, Member of the Management Board of Flughafen Wien AG. The number of employees at the Vienna Airport site will climb to 25,000 in 2020, and seven new companies have already located their business operations here. In May 2020 the new Office Park 4 will open in the Airport City. "Concerning the earnings guidance there is high uncertainty with regard to the estimate of effects of the coronavirus phenomenon, but the earnings guidance 2020 still seems achievable. A better assessment will be possible in 4 to 6 weeks. A cost-cutting package to safeguard earnings will be introduced nevertheless. From a historic point of view, such external shocks have only resulted in a temporary reduction of growth,” Ofner explains.

AndritzInternational technology group Andritz has received an order from Tamil Nadu Newsprint and Papers Limited (TNPL) to supply a complete recovery island for its mill in Mondipatti Village, Tamil Nadu, India. Start-up is scheduled for early 2021. This investment is part of TNPL’s mill expansion plans to further strengthen its position in the printing and writing paper segment. TNPL is a leading producer of paper and board based on bagasse – a sugar cane residue. The mill’s “Unit II” produces multi-layer coated board for use in pharmaceutical, health care, food, cosmetics and consumer packaging applications.

Frequentis: The Executive Board of Frequentis AG, an international supplier of communication and information systems for control centres with safety-critical tasks, has adopted - subject to the approval of the Supervisory Board of the company - a basic resolution regarding the implementation of an employee participation program in the business year 2020 and for this purpose the partial utilization of the authorized capital under the complete exclusion of the existing shareholders' subscription rights. Under the employee participation program, employees of Frequentis AG as well as employees of certain Austrian and German subsidiaries of Frequentis AG shall have the opportunity to acquire new shares at a favourable purchase price. The definite purchase price per new share to be paid by participating employees shall amount to 80% of the closing price of the share of the company at the Vienna Stock Exchange on 4 May 2020 and shall therefore entail a discount of 20%.

Vienna Stock Exchange: The Vienna Stock Exchange records an equity turnover of Euro 10.77 bn year-to-date. This is a gain of 7.6% over the same period last year (Jan-Feb 2019: Euro 10.01 bn). In the month of February 2020, share turnover amounts to Euro 6.14 bn. This represents an increase of 32.8% year-on-year (February 2019: Euro 4.62 bn).
